Twobob's are better known for their
decals, but this is actually their second lithographic art print.
The colourfully-marked F/A-18C is right
up their subject alley. In fact, a corresponding decal sheet with
markings for this aircraft is also available. One of the two Bobs, Bob
Guere, is the artist, and he has done a very nice job with this
profile.
The aircraft well rendered with attention
to light and shade. Weathering is subdued but quite realistic. The
aircraft is also immaculately detailed, with careful attention paid to
markings and weapons in particular.
The aircraft rendering is positioned
attractively as the focus between a description of the unit history,
profiles of the group and squadron insignia and a patriotic pair of US
flags at the top of the sheet.
This package is presented on heavy, high
quality 100lb low-glare archival paper. It was delivered in a very
sturdy cylinder, guaranteeing trouble free delivery all the way to
Australia.
Whether you want to have a memento of
Operation Enduring Freedom, or if you are a fan of colourful Bugs,
this will make an attractive addition to the wall of your office,
workshop or den.
Recommended.
