85-0079 “Warriors Dream” the
28th BW based at Ellsworth AFB. Finish is the same as the
previous aircraft, overall FS 36081 dark grey, with a disruptive
pattern of FS34086 dark green, to the upper surfaces and FS 36118
gunship grey to the undersides. Markings are also the same as the
previous aircraft with the exception of the nose art which is in two
parts and features a showering female wearing a red lei.
The sheet also features a
white airborne refuelling marking.
All markings on the sheet are
in perfect register which is noteworthy given the complexity of some
of the nose art.
Decal placement is as per
usual with Cutting Edge, a double-sided full colour A-4 sheet which
gives views of both sides of each subject and the camouflage pattern
for the 28th BW options. A separate sheet gives pertinent
notes on each aircraft as well as the FS 595 needed to paint the
aircraft matched against the popular modelling paints.
A nice sheet and it is
recommended.
