This second release from Cutting Edge is designed for the Hasegawa
FW-190A-8 but could easily be used on the Revell/Germany FW-190F-8.
The aircraft depicted aren't actually A-8s but the conversions
are relatively easy and invisible. The first aircraft is an
FW-190A-7 of the Sturmstaffel 1. It is very colorful with it's
black/white/black RVD bands outlined in white. You will have to add
the side armor to the fuselage and the canopy, as well as, the leave
off the guns on the upper cowling for this particular airframe.
The second aircraft is an FW-190F-8. Depicted in it's late war
colors this aircraft has over painted markings with a blown canopy.
A yellow rudder and forward cowling just sets off the overpainted
red markings with yellow 11. Accompanied with the late war greens
this aircraft is wonderfully rendered.
Both aircraft have spinner spirals and they are included on the
decal sheet. Complete national markings are included for one
aircraft. Kit decals will have to be used for the stencils.
I highly recommend this sheet. The decals will be vast improvements
over the kit supplied ones.
Highly Recommended.
