Also included on the
sheet are 12 sets of black and eight sets of white 0 though 9 numerals
in various sizes in the font used by NASA on their aircraft.
The
decals themselves look as if they are Microscale products. Nice and
thin, in perfect register with minimal film surrounding each design.
There is a placement guide as such but it really just shows pictures
of aircraft through the ages wearing the various different styles of
logos. It does however offer one pertinent note that there were a
number of styles of logos and markings worn by NASA aircraft and you
should check your references when contemplating modelling one of their
aircraft.
The sheet number is
48236 indicating that the markings are to 1/48 scale. This is not the
case as the insignia and logos are in all scales and sizes.
If you want to know
more about the NASA insignia and logos take a trip to their web site
at
http://history.nasa.gov/meatball.htm or
http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/pao/insignia/
A nice sheet from
Cutting Edge that will fill a niche. Now you have no excuse for not
producing a NASA T-38.
Recommended.
