The Jagdwaffe series from Classic Publications
has shown some interesting airplanes. The latest decal sheet from
Cutting Edge is based on Volume 4, Section 1, "Holding the West."
The Focke Wulfs depicted are mostly the fighter-bombers used in the
nuisance raids against England. Largely forgotten in favor of the
more famous fighters, the fighter-bombers were very colorful
machines, incorporating a black wash over the paint schemes to help
aid camouflage at night.
Cutting Edge's sheet gives you decals for five F w190s, ranging from
the A-2 to the A-5 sub-variants. There are three fighter-bombers and
two fighters. Besides the two aircraft with black wash, the aircraft
that stands out to me is the A-4 from JG5 with the monkey nose art
on the cowling. Large numbers and the funny monkey personal emblem
will make for an interesting look.
If you are looking for something different in Focke Wulfs this is an
easy way to get them. Most of these machines have not been available
before in decal form.
