Here is an image and information for a forthcoming decal sheet from Eagle Editions:

Frank Klibbe flew two different "Little Chief" Aircraft, each had a variant; therefore there are four "Little Chief" aircraft markings. The final version of the first "Little Chief", HV S had the name Anderson Indian in Red on the side of the fuselage. The artist had a problem with the 's' and no photo shows it completed and Klibble thought it was never on the aircraft but we supply a separate 's' if the modeler wants to use it. That a/c was a P-47 D-15-RE.

The Second "Little Chief' was a P-47 D-15RE coded HV V, presented in two forms; the first he flew when he achieved his 2nd through his 5th victory. After his 5th victory, when he became an Ace, it was decorated with the White trim and the spinner was painted Red. The White HV V was repainted to remove the stencil lines. Our decals present this, corrected from the decals in the Tamiya kit. Also, the HV on the port side, is slightly angled down. We also correct the color on the Little Chief war bonnet headdress.

We furnish a full sheet of markings plus a 1/2 sheet of National Markings as the underwing stars are slightly different on the two aircraft. The instruction sheet has original color plus black and white photos of both aircraft.

This sheet was prepared with the help and cooperation of Col. Frank Klibbe.

These decals may be pre-ordered now from Eagle Editions
