Model Alliance continues its commitment to modern RAF subjects with their latest
release - Jaguar GR.1, RAF Gulf War.
Markings are supplied for twelve aircraft - including one
aircraft with alternative nose art - all wearing overall Desert Pink common to
Jaguars participating in the first Gulf War of 1990-91. Each aircraft has
individual nose art and bomb logs too. The subjects include some of the better
known aircraft that appeared in news and other media at the time, but also many
that I have not seen before.
The decals are perfectly printed, in register and feature
very thin carrier film. Some of the larger, colourful and complex markings are
supplied with the black outline separate to ensure perfect alignment on the
model.
Four sets of toned-down national markings are supplied, as
are two sets of black "fake canopies: for the underside of the aircraft.
Instructions take the form of two folded, full colour,
double-sided A4 sheets with illustrations and copious notes.
If you are a fan of Jaguars, or the air arms of the 1990-91
Gulf War; or if you just have a penchant for pink, these decals will be a very
welcome addition to your collection!
Recommended.
