Model Alliance has released two decal sheets in association with their seven generic Canberra markings, and the forthcoming Canberra On Target Profile 11 book, due for release at Scale Modelworld at Telford in November. These are the first two out of a total of seven sheets for worldwide users of the Canberra.

The decals under review are in 1/48 scale, but they are also available in 1/72 scale.

The subjects offer good variety of colours and markings. They will be suitable for the recent Classic Airframes 1/48 scale Canberra kits.

Walkway lines in four styles (black, red, yellow and red-dashed) are included, but stencils will have to be sourced from the kit or from another Model Alliance generic Canberra decal sheet.

Instructions are once again a highlight of this package. Each are supplied as a stapled, A5 sized eight page booklet with four views of each aircraft. Quality of the artwork and the colour callouts is very good. A handy list of Canberra interior detail colours and reference photos is also included.

The decals themselves are beautifully printed and in perfect register. Colours look accurate too.

The biggest disadvantage is the limited run nature of the Classic Airframes kit for which these decals are designed. Snap 'em up while you can!

This is another well-presented and interesting release of an attractive subject from Model Alliance.

Highly Recommended.
