RRD7231 "Boring Old Silver No.1"

Red Roo Decals' "Boring Old Silver No.1" release covers a single aircraft - an RAAF 77 Squadron Meteor Mk.8 in Korea during 1952.

The aircraft is A77-859 "Darky Jones", flown by Sergeant Ted Jones at that time.

The subject Meteor is finished in Silver lacquer (not bare metal). This aircraft also had four rocket rails under each wing. No stencilling is included, only the basic markings, but it is still an interesting scheme.

RRD7231 "Boring Old Silver No.2"

The second sheet covers three overall natural metal Spitfires from 85 Sqn RAAF. They are all Mk.Vc Trops with Aluminium doped fabric surfaces used late in WWII.

The decals are all nicely printed.

Recommended.
