One
of Two Bobs latest releases is the F-16C Big Mouth Big Mouths Block
40/50 sheet. This sheet covers three aircraft from two different
places. You get the following options on the sheet:
-
F-16C Block 50, 79th FS Tigers,
Operation Southern Watch, Shaw AFB, Spring 2002
-
F-16C Block 40, 8th FW, Kunsan AB
Korea, 2002 Demo Jet
-
F-16C Block 40, 35th FS Pantons,
Kunsan AB, Korea, 2002
The Shaw jet is the 79th FS Commanders
jet and sports tiger stripes on the vertical stab along with a low
vis tiger head incorporated in the tail codes. This option also
includes a decal for the intake and exhaust plugs that have a yellow
tiger head and an inscription that read “Tiger Boss”. A nice touch.
The 2002 Kunsan Demo Jet carries a large Wolf head on the tail along
with blue and yellow striping for the wing tanks. Another nice
touch. This jet also has the “Lets Roll” sticker on te port intake
side.
The second Kunsan is a standard Wolfpack line jet from the 35th FS.
Standard markings and stenciling is on this particular jet.
For those using this sheet be sure to pay attention to the paint
scemes. All three jets have the tinted main canopy and clear rear
section. The Shaw jet also has a different demarcation line on te
gunship grey than the Wolfpack jets. All three jets are in the new
standard two tone FS36118 over FS36270 paint scheme.
This sheet contains enough markings to build two of the three jets
listed. The decals are thin ad very well printed. The detail on the
tiger and wolf heads has to be seen to be appreciated. This is a
very welcome sheet.
Recommended.
