Yet another new F-16 sheet in 1/48 scale by Two Bobs. This one covers USAFE jets from Spangdahlem AB , Germany and Aviano AB, Italy. This sheet includes markings for three aircraft and are as follows (click thumbnail to right to view larger image of the decal sheet):

• Option 1 -- F-16C Block 50, 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano AB Italy, USAFE Cc Aircraft, Summer 2004

• Option 2 -- F-16C Block 50, 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano AB Italy, Ops Group CC Aircraft, Summer 2004

• Option 3 -- F-16C Block 50, 52nd Fighter Wing, Spangdahlem AB Germany, Ops Group CC Aircraft, Summer 2004

One note to buyer of this sheet. If you are planning on doing the Spangdahlem jet you will need to convert it to CCIP standard which mainly entails making the “bird slicer” antennas in front of the canopy.

All three jets carry the FS36118 over FS36270 paint scheme. The instructions contain photos of the actual jets on the sheet. There is also the usual list of available products and kits that can be obtained . The decals themselves are up to Two Bobs usual high standards of good color density and minimal carrier film.

Looking at the sheet closely I noticed that you can actually build all three subjects on the sheet or, trade out a set for one airplane without sacrificing the markings or stencils for any of the others. That makes great value for the money in my opinion.
