The Skull and Crossbones of the VF-103 Jolly Rogers is quite possibly the most recognizable marking ever applied to an aircraft.

This sheet commemorates the 60 years of history of the Jolly Rogers on a specially marked F-14B from VF-103 during June of 2004. There is also a low Vis marked Tomcat s/n 163229 from the same time period. The 60th anniversary jet is s/n 163217 and is the CAG bird from the squadron.

The instructions include several photos of both jets and are very useful for painting and weathering. You also get the normal list of what kits and accessories are available. The instructions are full color as normal with Two Bobs.

The decals themselves include one full sheet and a second 1/3 sheet with all of the stencils and markings for both aircraft. The only thing keeping you from doing both jets complete from this sheet are the lack of slime lights for two aircraft.

I am a dedicated USAF guy but I have to admit, the Jolly Rogers aircraft and markings have always been a favorite of mine. I will however have a rough time seeing these markings on the Super Hornet. The F-14 just screams Jolly Rogers.

I highly recommend this sheet to anyone who likes F-14s or is a Jolly Rogers nut. It is one of my favorite Two Bobs releases to date. It is very complete and very much a bargain for the amount of decals included

Recommended.

Thanks to Bob Sanchez at Two Bobs for the review sample.
