More "stock" decals from Yellow-Wings Decals.  This time it is two sheets that supply Naval Air Station names that appear on the U.S. Navy's aircraft. 

48-040 carries the names of 38 individual East coast naval air stations in all.   As they were carried on both sides of the aircraft, you get 76 four inch names and 76 six inch names.  As well as the individual names you also get 24 four inch NAVAL AIR STATION and 42 abbreviated N.A.S titles.  In six inch, you get 14 NAVAL AIR STATION and 22 abbreviated N.A.S titles

On this sheet, you get 40 pair of four inch names and 40 pair of  six inch names.  You also get 20 four inch NAVAL AIR STATION and 42 abbreviated N.A.S titles.  In six inch, you get 16 NAVAL AIR STATION and 32 abbreviated N.A.S titles.

Each sheet consists of two individual decal sheets, a normal sized one and a smaller sheet carrying the NAVAL AIR STATION and abbreviated N.A.S titles. 

Unusual for Yellow-Wings Decals, the sheets do not come with any accompanying support material but then again, it's not really required for these sheets.  The header card however does supply instructions for applying the decals. 

The decals themselves have been printed by Microscale, enough said.  They are thin and have an absolute minimum of film surrounding each title. 

The decal sheets and their accompanying stiff cardboard headers come packed in a clear plastic zip-loc bag. 

Though specifically produced for models of aircraft of the "yellow wing" period, these decals can be used for many models as the U.S. Navy continues the practice even to this day.
